Yuzu is a citrus fruit originating from East Asia, mainly cultivated in Japan, Korea, and China. It is a natural cross between a wild mandarin and an Ichang lemon. Its fruit, yellow when ripe, resembles a small grapefruit with thick, bumpy skin. Very aromatic, it is rarely consumed as is due to its strong acidity and the presence of many seeds. In cooking, yuzu is particularly appreciated for its unique aromatic profile, both fresh, lively, and complex, blending notes of lemon, mandarin, grapefruit, and a slight floral touch. Its juice and zest bring great finesse to preparations. It is picked at perfect maturity and carefully candied in our workshops. French SME production (in Provence) and 100% Natural Recipe (without additives, preservatives, colorants, natural and artificial flavors, texture agents, flavor enhancers, hydrogenated fats, and palm oil).
